Three Beacons, Also Called Bells

The bells people search for are three outdoor gargoyle beacons. Light each with the Azure Torch. The first is on a broken stair near the Cemetery Precipice. The second is up the left stair after the Obmuer cave exit. The third is after Dagoom, through the gate near Chef Gagi on the Isle of Neasied. Three lights unseal the Tower of Knowledge.

Why the search says bell

The landmark makes a bell sound when it catches the Azure Torch's flame. It is not a charm you equip and it is not a small bell in the Rotting Cavern. The third-bell search is this third beacon. Bring the torch from the gargoyle statue on the tower approach, or you are staring at an unlit head with no prompt that matters.

Beacon one is a movement check. Start from the twin pillars that hold the second Wind Gem and spend two air dashes onto the broken stair. Three Skeletal Fighters wait on that landing in the Isle walkthrough. Beacon two is easier to miss because it is a left turn as you exit the Obmuer cave, not a room inside the temple. That left turn is written up once. Beacon three sends you backwards: finish Dagoom, return to the island, and look beside Chef Gagi. The right-hand gargoyle is the one. The toll is the confirmation, not a chest.

FAQ

I lit two and the door is shut.

The third is back on the Isle after Dagoom, not inside the tower.

Do the beacons reset?

I have no source that says they go out. The guides treat three tolls as permanent.
