Key Locations: First Key, Burial Site and the Rest
The first key is the Endu Shrine Gate Key, on the shrine in the crypt under the starting ruins after you loop the beach. The Burial Site key is in the cemetery near Deimpo Mausoleum. Later keys include Bodine's Forbidden Archives Key, Chef Gagi's Knight Expedition Key, and the five Trident Keys.

First key
Walk the beach until the ruins let you downstairs. The shrine in that crypt is the key, not a boss drop. It opens the Endu Shrine gate, which is the fight that pays the Holy Sword. People who search a misspelled 'location' are looking for this object. The same room's right-hand wall is the Pandora false wall, so you can take the sword and the key in one visit.
Burial Site
Two descriptions do not match, and I am leaving both. One says the cemetery key opens a hidden stair under a graveyard hut near Deimpo. The other says the key is found at the burial site and used on a chest rather than a stair. I will not pick a winner. What both agree on is the neighbourhood: the cemetery beside Deimpo Mausoleum, not the starting beach.
FAQ
Is the first key in the boss room?
No. It is on the crypt shrine before the shrine guardian.
How many keys are there in total?
I do not have a complete official count. The table is the set with a public location.
