Trident Keys and the Five-Slot Door
There are five colour-coded Trident Keys. Two are inside Obmuer Temple. One breaks off the Trident weapon at max level. One is sold after the Tower of Knowledge boss. One comes from the Blue Whale King in the Petrified Garden. Only the first two are on the main route. The rest feed a five-slot door and the garden.

What the colours actually open
The English colour names are not all printed in a menu I can quote. Sapphire and the red fragment are the names the English guides use. The green key and the cyan key come from a Chinese-language route that describes the colour, so I am labeling them green and cyan and saying the UI name was not copied from an English menu.
The main path through Obmuer only needs the two temple keys. Selling or breaking the Trident before it sheds the red fragment is the loss people post about. The weapon page explains the pierce stats. This page is only the keys. The five-slot door sits behind the White Tree Guardian, on the far side of a false wall, and the Petrified Garden has five coloured sockets. Both of those locks are a single bestiary-and-secrets guide, so they stay marked as one source.
Breaking the Trident
The search 'break trident' is this fragment, not a combat cancel. At the level cap a piece comes off and that piece is the red key. Spirit Oil is what players name when they talk about pushing a weapon's level, and I do not have a second description of how many oils a level costs. Keep the weapon until the piece drops if you care about the five-slot door. You can skip the door and still finish the queen.

Are the triangular slates the same puzzle?
No. The four triangular slates open Obmuer. The Trident Keys open the five-slot door and the garden sockets.
Do I need all five to beat the game?
The route guides say no. They are for the optional door and the garden.
