How to Escape Verdant Hollow

If you dropped into Verdant Hollow before you meant to, go uphill to the ruined tower and climb its ramp. The circular teleporter on top returns you to the Isle of Neasied. Save first. The intended late route keeps going to Puwema Temple, where the eight Sipeha seals and the true holy sword are.

The walk back out

Players who posted the escape describe the same landmark twice: a knocked-down tower, not a doorway with a sign. From wherever you landed, take the ground that climbs. The tower's ramp is the path, and the pad at the top is round. Step on it after a save. The pad is a return to the Isle of Neasied, which is why an early fall is annoying rather than a soft-lock, as long as you can reach that ramp.

I do not have a coordinate, a compass bearing, or a room number. The posts say 'uphill' and 'past the destroyed tower'. If you are circling a lake instead of climbing, you are still in the middle of the hollow, not at the exit.

What the hollow is for, once you are meant to be there

The late visit is not an escape. Output from the true-sword guide and the bestiary guide puts Puwema Temple at the highest point, behind a door that wants eight Sipeha seals and four lenses. That is where the true holy sword Akunra is discussed. Two named fights sit at that door in the bestiary guide: Dragon Lord Usunha and Malachite Dragon Wujomiod. Lower down, the same guide names Ghost Coelacanth on the lake and Vespula Ungulacrita in the middle forest. Jigeki Temple, which wants three keys, and the Tower of Sin on the great bridge are sub-areas in that same write-up. Those enemy and sub-area names are one source. I am not inventing a kill order for them.

Wind dashes matter here more than on the beach. If a gap is the thing stopping you from the tower ramp, the jump-and-dash page lists how many air dashes each Wind Gem adds. Falling in without the Holy Sword is the painful version of this room, because you cannot chain a dash you have not unlocked.

Mistakes that waste the climb

Resting at the Crystal Monument respawns what you just cleared, so do it before the teleporter, not in the middle of a chase back down. The teleporter is the way home. It is not the door to Puwema. If your goal is the seals, stay in the hollow and keep climbing past the tower instead of taking the pad. If your goal is to leave an accidental visit, the pad is the whole answer.

FAQ

Can I get out without the teleporter?

The posts that describe an exit describe the tower pad. I have no second, different exit to offer.

Is Verdant Hollow required?

The endgame sword route uses it. An early fall is optional and reversible.
